Our teams at Accenture Song Nordics and Volvo Cars intertwined to work tirelessly on the UX of the new EX90 and EX30 (launched 2024). We were largely integrated into the Car UX team, building a design library from scratch that would be used not only within the company, but across multiple sub brands and car models, adapting to a variety of hardware and software requirements. All while staying within the limitations of international automative standards and safety regulations.
My main role focused on creating iconography within Volvo's brand team. This meant ensuring each design communicated effectively at a glance while embodying Volvo's distinct brand personality, considering individual country regulations and ISO standard practices. Concurrently involved in designing island components within the steering dashboard and infotainment system.
